Despite the beastly weather of yesterday, and the fact that most residential streets had not been properly plowed last night (due to the sheer amount of snow that fell, and the overnight work required to get the commercial roads tidied up), it was not a pleasant trip to work this morning. It's Ontario, Canada. It's December. It's winter-- well, it hasn't been winter yet in this part of Canada. But that's all changed today.

The winter storm warning that was in effect starting late yesterday has manifested, in a big way! I woke up this morning to a lot of snow falling, and snapped this picture.

It's Sunday morning. The last Sunday in December.

The weather this morning is more winter-like, sad to say. It's a mix of freezing rain, snow, and rain, sitting predominantly on the side of the snow and freezing rain, with the temperature expected to be around the 0oC mark for the day, but dropping down to around -9 degrees C overnight.
